Efficiency Manitoba Rebate Program

Here is the basic process to get your started on your rebate for spray foam installation

The Crown Corporation Efficiency Manitoba is dedicated to energy efficiency. Cross Country a registered supplier of the Manitoba rebate program


Follow these 6 steps to start saving:

  1. Check your eligibility on Efficiency Manitoba site.
  2. Select us as your registered contractor for spray foam insulation.
  3. Get approved.
  4. Set up the install date within 12 months of your approval, and pay our invoice.
  5. Submit final documents within 30 days of completion & within 12 month of approval date to Efficiency Manitoba
  6. Receive your rebate from Efficiency Manitoba


Quick tips for qualification for a Home Insulation Rebate,  your home was built before 1999 and projects must be a minimum of 100 square feet per area and meet the following insulation levels:

ATTIC AND CATHEDRAL CEILINGS ATTIC:

  • Existing insulation must be R-30 or less
  • The final R-value must reach R-50
  • Rebates cover insulation added to R-50

CATHEDRAL OR FLAT CEILING:

  • Existing insulation must be R-30 or less
  • The final R-value must reach a minimum of R-28 to a maximum of R-50
  • Rebates cover insulation added to R-50

ATTIC KNEEWALL:

  • Existing insulation must be R-8 or less
  • The final R-value must reach R-24
  • Rebates cover insulation added to R-24

WALL CAVITIES

Insulation added to the perimeter of the home.

  • Existing insulation must be R-12 or less
  • The final R-value must reach a minimum of R-12 to a maximum of R-24
  • Rebates cover insulation added to R-24

EXTERIOR WALLS

Insulation added to the exterior walls of the home when residing or refacing the outside of a home.

  • Exterior walls must be uninsulated to be eligible for a rebate.
  • The final R-value must be a minimum of R-3.75 to a maximum of R-10
  • Rebates cover insulation added to R-10
  • Insulation must be continuous on the exterior of a home

FOUNDATION WALLS

Insulation added to the basement or crawlspace of a home.

  • Homes heated by natural gas must be uninsulated to be eligible for a rebate
  • Homes heated by electricity, propane, fuel oil or wood must have existing insulation of R-12 or less
  • The final R-value must reach R-24
  • Rebates cover insulation added to R-24

Mobile Home skirting is not eligible for a rebate


PROJECTS THAT ARE NOT ELIGIBLE

  • Garages, sunrooms, porches, or verandas
  • Unoccupied homes
  • Homes or additions built in 1999 or later
  • Homes that are under construction or renovation
  • Projects that replace existing insulation
  • Apartments, vacation rentals, or outbuildings
  • Seasonal homes, cottages, or cottage conversions
  • Converting unheated spaces to heated spaces
  • Projects that are in progress or are already complete
